I have downloaded the Xiamoi App and Yeelight App. However, I cannot establish a connection with either of them although the lamp is close to the router and has a full connection etc. I keep getting "TimeOut" or "Connection timeout" --> but the lamp appears in my router's DHCP list -> does anyone know the problem?
I have the same problem and have tried it with three different routers / networks without success.
Problem gelöst! Hiermit funktioniert das Ganze problemlos:
1. Logout your account and login with account: lixin@yeelink.net , Password: yeelink1234 from Yeelight application.
2. Try to connect device with the account. Update firmware once connected, then reset your device and try again with your account.
PLEASE DONOT CHANGE PASSWORD!!
If the country for the server is changed, the cache should definitely be deleted under settings. After that, the connection should work without any problems.
Solution for all with connection problems:
Log in to the Yeelight app with the following account and perform a firmware update:
account: lixin@yeelink.net, password: yeelink123
Then you can reset the lamps again and log in with your account and connect the lamps.

does the sunlight wake-up function only work with a smartphone?
That doesn't sound good... and the same with me 2 routers and via the hotspot of the mobile phone no success :-(
The advanced features like Sunlight Wake-up were the main reason to buy.... I am curious if anyone of the buyers has solved this problem
