I have compared this card with art. no. 12240015. This card is U1, the other U3, now in specifications, both have the same read and store speed (100/85 Mb). Shouldn't the U3 be faster in general ? What else besides the price differentiates the two ?

Good question! According to the manufacturer's link, the cards are U3 and V30 compatible from 256 GB, i.e. at least 30 MB/s write speed.

The U1 specs are for this item, but for memory sizes of 128GB and less.
If you look at the pictures, the labels are indeed identical.
