Question about SanDisk iXpand Go

I have bought 2 SanDisk iXpand Go. If I buy a new iPad with USB C, can I continue to use the iXpand with a "Lightning <-> USB C" adapter? Is the iXpand Drive app also available on iPads with USB C?

If the app is still available in the store, it will probably also run on an Ipad with usb c.
But whether the memory is still recognised is probably only known by SanDisk. I would ask them.
