I have both ports on my laptop USB-A and USB-C. So what is the difference apart from the price?

I'm not sure but I don't think there is any difference, except that the USB-A version is not in stock :D.
I have the USC-B version and am very, very happy with my purchase. The USB-C is future-proof - if you have both ports, I highly recommend this version. Plus the headset will work with phones that have this port (most of the non-common ones)
