Question about AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

An adjustment of this automated indication of the delivery date 'Expected in ...' would be expedient. Until today, I was also half looking forward to the CPU supposedly coming in a few days, with a little scepticism mind you. However, many others here are really ge- and then disappointed, repeatedly. You wait for months, then you're happy, and then it's 'vinegar' again. I would expect a clear statement from Digitec on what exactly the meaning of these estimated delivery dates is, which are obviously adjusted automatically when the order is placed. It would be even better to change this delivery date system so that people are no longer repeatedly pleased and then disappointed. Simply entering an estimate and then postponing it again by 3 months on 'day zero' is actually an imposition.

keep your fingers crossed for you and everyone else (including me)... the product currently says that it is not available again. let's see if it works this time.

When I asked Digitec, they confirmed on the phone that this was not just any date but had been confirmed by AMD. Let's see if this is really true.

btw: my own 'glimmer of hope' is just above zero ....

Pretty sure that no CPUs will arrive. The date was simply extended by 3 months at that time and will probably just move to 1.7 on 1.4.

I had ordered mine in Dec.2020 at the then price of 549.- here at Digitec,yesterday finally came the shipping confirmation *🤪

My 5900X now actually has the status "shipped" wow :-) I didn't expect it to really work this time!

Ordered on 09.12., arrived yesterday and installed! An acquaintance of mine ordered at the beginning / middle of January; his CPU also arrived yesterday. Seems like there was a whole truckload.

It's a pity that these processors come from Asia and probably have to go by ship through the Suez Canal, which has been impassable since yesterday. Let's hope for the best that the ship with this container was already through :D

Ordered since 1.12. I don't expect much either. Because the suppliers just won't give the goods to Digitec if others offer a higher price. I have seen on toppreise that on https://www.highdefinition.ch/ should deliver 19.3 Littlebit Technology AG for 649 Fr. But later it shows no information and suddenly techstudio.ch has this CPU for over 1100 Fr :-).

If by 1 April it still hasn't come, I will buy from China, where you can get a relatively fair price incl. delivery for about 700 Fr.
