I have an older PC that is still sufficient for my purposes. Now the graphics card has failed, it is the type: "ATI FireGL V5600 PCI-e" Is there a replacement that I can use again.
I looked at the MAI GeForce GT 710 2GD3H but I am not sure.

the PC is really quite old :-)
The ATI FireGL V5600 PCI-e still had a PCIe bus version 1.0, but the mainboard may already have V2.0.
The GT 710 has a PCIe bus version 2.0, but is basically downward compatible. 
That will work.
