Question about HP E27Q G4
I have an old docking station which only has USB inputs, no HDMI inputs. This HP monitor states: "Supplied with: Display Port cable, HDMI cable, USB". Does "USB" mean a cable that can be plugged from the monitor into a USB input?

A docking station has USB outputs and, if anything, a USB-C "input", usually Thunderbolt for the connection between the notebook and the docking station. HDMI or DisplayPort on the docking stations are outputs to monitors, TVs, projectors, etc.
The USB cable supplied is a normal USB 3.0 A to B cable for the integrated USB hub in the monitor, nothing more. You have to connect the screen via HDMI or DisplayPort. The E27Q has a Quad-HD resolution, i.e. 2560x1440, for your information.
