Question about Icy Box IB-366StU3+B

I have an Icy Box 2Bay external Raid. I ordered a Barracuda Seargate 3.5" 2TB HDD for it. However, the HDD is too narrow (not recognised) for the slot of the ICY Box (although it is listed as an accessory at digitec). Do I need an adapter for this or how can I use the Barracuda with the Icybox? Thank you very much.

I don't have a Seagate Barracuda, but another 2TB 3.5 HDD.
The IcyBox should work with any SATA 3.5 inch HDD without any problems.
Have you connected the external power supply of the ICY Box and pressed the power button on the back of the case?
Maybe you did not insert the HD properly or did not latch the lid properly? If this is not the reason, your Icy Box or your HD might be defective.
