The new chipset supports UASP technology and SATA III 6 Gbit/s hard drives, making data transfer 3 to 4 times faster than with a standard USB 3.0 enclosure. The Easy Swap mechanism also allows for good speeds during hard drive changes – no screws needed, just open the lid, pull out the hard drive, insert another hard drive, close the lid. Done.
