HP Tilt Pen MPP 2.0

Question about HP Tilt Pen MPP 2.0

I have an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-eb1904nz and the pen does not work. HP says it is compatible. I first tried it with an HP Active Pen G3. It can connect via Bluetooth and the buttons work, but the touch input does not (not compatible according to HP). The HP Tilt Pen MPP 2.0 does not work at all. There were no instructions in the box on how to connect the pen. Only how the buttons work.

hi
the pen works for us too. it has to be charged. it didn't work with bluetooth at first, then we connected it to the laptop with the cable, which helped. now the bluetooth works too, and afterwards also without a cable connection. hope it works!

This seems to be a common problem with the pen (corresponding error descriptions can also be found on Reddit, for example). I have also just received one as an accessory for my HP notebook. Even when charging, the LED does not change from orange (= charging) to white (= fully charged), and nothing works on the notebook, not even pairing via Bluetooth. I complained to HP and within 10 minutes they promised to replace it. It should arrive today and I hope it works.

Well, it worked immediately for us. The pen must be charged, switch on Bluetooth and then press the top of the pen for 3 seconds. That should work. Here is the link from HP: https://support.hp.com/de-de...
