No, the Tilt Pen MPP 2.0 is not compatible with the HP EliteBook x360 830 G8. According to official HP information, it is only suitable for Spectre and Envy x360 laptops. For EliteBook models, the HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3 is recommended instead. Check the exact compatibility for your model on the HP website to be sure.

However, the question remains in the Community, perhaps another member has a suitable product.
Had the same problem. Unfortunately it is not compatible. Then I posted a Wacom bamboo Ink, which works for my Elitebook. Wacom has lists of which type fits which HP series.
The pen works perfectly. It does not seem to be manufacturer-dependent. The pen from the Microsoft Surface can also be used on an HP notebook with a touchscreen. Have tried it out
According to the manufacturer, the pen fits the following tablets: Pavilion x360, Envy x360, Spectre x360.
I myself purchased the product for an HP Pavilion x360 14-dw1708nz 14.0" Silver. Works.
Yes, this pen is compatible with HP Pavilion. I have used this pen for two Pavilion 14". Works perfectly, better, more precise than the previous models. For details, see also online at HP Store.
