Question about HP G2

I have an HP Spectre x360 15-eb0036ng and the HP G2 (120W) docking station. I have connected an LG monitor to the docking station via Displayport. Unfortunately, I only get a message on the monitor that the monitor has no signal. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I have already updated the firmware of the docking station.

We had this problem with a new company laptop. With an original HP DisplayPort cable and a graphics card soft firmware update, it flew.
Unfortunately, I cannot say whether this always works.
