I deliberately skipped the RTX20XX with my 1080Ti because the performance increase, however considered, did not justify the investment. And I have not regretted it! With the 3080, according to the PCGH source, I have around a 70% performance increase, which will make a purchase of the RTX3080 highly likely for me. I think the increase to the 2080Ti is just under 35% or even less - I would leave it alone, that would be too little for me... Greetings

Depends if you play in 4k, if so I would change.

The upgrade in gaming is 30% on average. You won't be able to sell your 2080ti for the purchase price and if the 3070 will be as fast as the 2080ti (big IF), not for 600.- either (unfortunately). But the 2080ti hasn't suddenly become slower and you can certainly keep the 2080ti until the next graphics card generation from NVIDIA.
