I have a ThinkPad T14s with ThunderB and an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10310U CPU @ 1.70GHz 2.21 GHz. Can I connect the ThinkPad directly to the screen via TB or is this only possible via HDMI or DP? Do I have the full resolution? Or in other words, is the TP compatible with this screen?
This should certainly work, the ThinkPad T14s can display this resolution externally via USB-C via Thunderbolt. However, I would not recommend this screen resolution, because a 3840 x 2160 pixel panel device would be able to display much more image content and is also quite a bit less wide.
An alternative with 4K UHD would be this model, it would also have a much better viewing angle stable IPS panel, but no 144Hz (if that were important) and it could not provide as much wattage as the Samsung model for charging a notebook:
