Question about Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro
I have a question, when I want to look at my data, I can't look at my photos and contacts in the dark because it doesn't recognise my face. I have to enter a pattern, which I have never entered! so I can never query my data with a face mask. what is the reason for this?
The Face ID on the Redmi Note 8 Pro is not the best, currently it should not be used. Unfortunately, it is only a 2D Face ID. In theory, you can unlock your phone with a photo of you. Therefore, I would not recommend Face ID per se.
More expensive phones, such as the iPhone, now have 3D Face ID, which would work with a mask. But not with this model.
