I have a Galaxy A71, which is a 6.7 inch smartphone. Would it be compatible with it?

I have an A71 and this. It's close to the limit as to what the controller can support, but it does fit in it without issue. They are compatible.
Your smartphone may be too big. Mine is 5.8 inches and I don't have much space left.
As long as it has a USB-C port, it should definitely work.
