I have 2 questions:
1. is it possible to fly other aeroplanes than Airbus in the MS flight simulator ?
2. how can I control the tailgates if I have no pedals but only this part ? Or do I still need pedals?

So you don't need pedals. The joystick can be rotated.

You don't necessarily need pedals, you can configure the flaps and other functions. Yes, you can also use it to control other aircraft.
However, I do not fly an FS simulator. (I fly with XPlane).
