Hi, I had the same problem, I wanted to use other batteries because the originals are not available to buy. You have to buy 800 mAh or even better under that to charge the brand doesn't matter. Then scrape off half or all of the foil, it doesn't matter, you can see the blank battery, these then go into the Philips headphones for charging.

Unfortunately not, you need AAA NiMH 900 mA batteries. I tried 950mA, but it didn't work. Like you, I am desperately looking for 900mA batteries.....!!! Let me know if you find any. Have a nice day.

Here is an explanation from a specialist as to why more Ah doesn't do any harm, but simply provides the required amperage for longer.

A higher Ah number means that the battery has a greater capacity and can therefore be used for longer before it needs to be recharged.
