I find the price a bit outrageous for an i3.

Helpful answer

Dan don't buy it or buy it somewhere else, otherwise you have to complain directly to digitec ;-)

They hit 4.8Ghz without delid, so if don't need the cores, or on a budget, this is a perfect CPU instead of a 7600k or 7700k. You have the chance to get a 8700k at a later date.

I think you should take a closer look at the product before you write such a comment.
Yes, it's a Core i3, but the important thing is the performance, not the name.
the new Coffee Lake CPU's are not simply a linear continuation of the core/thread scheme as in the past 7 generations (i3->2/4, i5->4/4, i7->4/8), but new the i3 has 4 cores/4 threads and more chache. So the i3-8350k lines up next to the i5-7600k and they are equally fast on a few percent. So we've gone down in price from ~250.- this summer for the 7600k to 219.- introductory price for the i3-8350k. I think it's great what Intel is delivering, thanks to the pressure from AMD.

I agree with you there. Especially compared to AMD xD
