Question about Elgato Multi Mount Solid Arm

I don't understand the world right now. Why doesn't this 1/4 inch screw fit into 1/4 threaded holes from other manufacturers? This one fits the Elgato smartphone holder, but so does the one from the other manufacturer. The Elgato screw simply does not fit into the 1/4 inch hole of the Smallrig Clamp.------------------------------------------- I don't have access to a gauge right now to check the thread pitch, but they should be the same.------------------------------------------------- Just testing ways to integrate Elgato stuff into existing stuff, e.g. other ballheads available in Switzerland. I'm really starting to get annoyed that Elgato is so poorly compatible with everything and also provides little bulk that you would need to see what else it fits with besides their own "shit".------------------------------- Solid arm doesn't fit on my stable 35mm Ergotron post (only bought because a ballhead is missing + the few cm are just enough), screw doesn't fit in the clamp from Smallrig. With the Flexarm you are forced to buy additional multimount things because no ballhead (at least one) is included or any information can be found on how big their BALLS are.----------------------------------------------- I'll be sure to write a review, but let's see how it goes.
