I currently have an EOS 100D with a Sigma 18-250 Macro. What makes more sense from your point of view, buying just the M50 body and attaching the Sigma with adapter or the M50 with the dedicated travel zoom 18-150 (i.e. this one)? Does the Sigma perform well on the M50 and adapter? That would save me 200 Fr, even if the solution would not be so compact.
The adapter extends the focal length by approx. 30mm. This means that your 18mm lens becomes a 48mm lens. So I would advise you to buy another EF lens. There is also the 15 - 45mm, which doesn't cost 200 francs and is also very compact and handy.
