I compared the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Snapdragon with the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. I noticed the resolution of the main camera. Samsung 108 and Apple 12 Mpx. Either one of the numbers is wrong or obviously no longer relevant, or do I simply not understand it? That would be a difference of almost 90%. Any ideas?

The Note 20 Ultra has a larger 108mpx sensor that also shoots photos in 12mpx. This is called nonna binning. Nonna binning means that all sensors of the 108mpx sensor are used to shoot a 12mpx image at the end. This should allow for more detail and sharper photos. But basically both mobiles (iPhone and Note) shoot photos at 12mpx and only in high light you can use the 108mpx mode of the Note. The difference is not bad in high light. But not otherwise.
