Question about Marshall Major III Bluetooth

I cannot connect the major 3 headphones via bluetooth. I hold the button down long enough for the LED to flash blue and on the phone (with bluetooth on) I select the device, but the connection fails every time. It's not just the phone, as the problem is the same with my tablets too.
