Question about Samsung LU28R550UQRXEN

I bought two of them and found that they don't have built-in speakers. It only works via external speakers with an AUX cable, unfortunately. I currently use the UE Boom as an alternative. I also get sound, but not 100% or muffled (e.g. in shooter games like CoD I don't hear the voices of the soldiers, or in ordinary video sequences I don't hear the voices well). Can I solve the problem by buying external PC speakers (e.g. Logitech) with AUX connection? Can anyone help me? Thank you!

The PS4 also has an S/PDIF connection

That would work, but I recommend you use the best audio output of your gaming system (PC?) if you want better audio. Depending on what you have available, you have different options for speakers. If you only have the aux output of the screen, this is your only option. Here is a description with pictures:
