Question about Belkin Connect

I bought the hub mainly because of the many different ports, a LAN connection was mandatory because our W-LAN has rough fluctuations. Now the LAN connection of all things doesn't work, it's not the cable, I've already tested that. Is there anything else that needs to be taken into account so that the LAN connection works, or is the part broken :-(`???

I think it's broken too. With the Mac, no drivers or anything were necessary. Worked "out of the box
