Question about Acer 13-in-1 Type-C Minidock
I bought the docking station for my new Acer notebook. Mainly because of the second sentence in the description: "You can plug your laptop's USB-C power adapter into the dock's PowerDelivery socket to supply it with power at the same time." However, you have to supply the docking station itself with power and, contrary to expectations, no power supply unit was included. For me at least, the wording is deceptive ... --> Which power supply unit does Digitec recommend for a normal 14" notebook?

You should use your computer's original power supply and plug it into the docking station. This will ensure that the voltage supplied by the charger corresponds to your computer.
And if you want to have two power supplies (one for travelling and one that stays connected to the docking station), the best thing to do is to buy a charger identical to the one supplied with your computer.
