I bought the 75t and am a bit disappointed because I mainly hear myself when I walk around. Is this better solved with the 85t? The description says semi-open. Has anyone been able to test this?
I used to have the 65t and you could hear yourself relatively strongly. Probably due to the "closed in-ear" design - for example when you were talking on the phone or chewing noises. With the 85t this is now quite a different experience. That's why I chose the 85t over the 75t. So I can't say exactly what the experience would be like with the 75t - but if it's similar to the 65t, which I assume it is, the experience with the 85t is IMO much better. The 85t just give you the feeling that they are not as tight. Doesn't bother me, but could be a problem if you want to wear them jogging for example. Up to you.
Ambient noise comes through well and disturbs the conversation partner if someone is talking next to them. I did not notice any walking noises.
Did you buy them then? I have the 75t and have extreme difficulty making phone calls because I can hear myself all the time. That's why I usually only talk on the phone with one earpiece in my ear. With the Air Pods Pro, this is solved better and you don't hear yourself at all. However, I really need the option of pairing two devices in parallel.
Or are there others who have a comparison between Elite 85t and Air Pods Pro?
