Question about Elgato Stream Deck

I bought an elgato stream deck xl. At the time of the sale, I was told that this device works for all devices with Windows 10 or higher. I have a Dell latitude 5290 tablet PC. I can download the app and the Delgato light works but I can't do any operation with it. Does anyone of you know any advice? Kind regards Matthias
