I bought 2 of these at Digitec yesterday. Is it normal that - whether in use or not - they not only get warm, but really hot (you have to let go after a few seconds to avoid burning your fingers)?
They will be with me too. That's probably why the metal housing.
I also recently bought the stick. It gets very hot, you almost burn your fingers. My previous USB stick with only 32 GB didn't even get warm. I plugged the sticks into the USB hub all the time. If it weren't for two other users here who said that they also had this problem, I would have thought that it was definitely broken.
Could someone from Digitec please check with the manufacturer and comment on this?
I don't know if the device is defective. I have my files on it and am unsure if the thing will eventually give up the ghost. I need to know if I should exchange or continue like this.
Same problem with my stick. You get the feeling that the stick is about to burst into flames and the writing speed is plummeting...
It's the same with me. The sticks get extremely hot. It would be really good if Digitec asked the manufacturer about this.
