I am struggling with several problems at once. Basically, I bought the Commander Pro to be able to control all fans elegantly via iCue, regardless of whether 3PIN (DC) or 4PIN (PWM). I use the CPU Wakü H150i Pro in parallel - Noctua NF-F12 PWM are already in use there and work perfectly (the RPM can also be adjusted well). First a screenshot of the iCue panel (https://ibb.co/hcL8Dmj) Problem 1: Corsair SP120 RGB (3-PIN DC) - https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/corsair-sp120-rgb-mit-controller-120mm-3x-pc-luefter-5895340 - always run at 100% rpm despite "3PIN" selection in iCue. Via mainboard/BIOS the RPM adjustment works perfectly, unfortunately then via Win10/iCue not steruerbar. Problem 2: The Noctua NF-F12 PWM (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/noctua-nf-f12-pwm-120mm-3x-pc-luefter-6339958) also run at 100% rpm despite "4PIN" selection. Question 1: Why is "HYDRO X detected" displayed? As explained at the beginning, I use the H150i Pro... Question 2: Do I have the right fan pin assignment? Especially the "up and down" (slow fluctuation of the RPM) of all 6 fans is "quite annoying". Very grateful for any help/tips 😊
Addendum: After a long back and forth, the solution > "Create custom profile" and work with the temp. curve.
Hydro x detected you can click away, it has no meaning if you do not have hydro x in use. I had the same problem and asked directly in the Corsair Forum. The message does not seem to be fully developed in iCUE, which is why the error detections are absolutely no problem.
Hello @Mikesina,
I also have HYDRO X detected. ?.?. That wouldn't bother me, but unfortunately the games integration doesn't work for me. I had started to upgrade my computer and ordered a H100i, and a QL120 fan. With this, I came across the gaming integration, which unfortunately did not run correctly. Not all components were illuminated and effects seemed to be missing. So I ordered the Commander Pro, as I would like to be able to enjoy this feature. Unfortunately, iCue has not responded to my games at all since then. Since the new mainboard or the CPU seems to have a defect, it could be done with the new hardware, but I would still be happy if someone knew why it says here: HYDRO X detected...
