I am planning to buy a monitor but at the moment I can't decide between PG279Q or PG27VQ. can someone help me which one to choose? I would use the monitor for gaming, shooter games, RPG, etc. It would be great if someone could help me. ^^

Good day,

I asked myself the same question when the PG27VQ came onto the market.
I also play games in a similar order to you, I made sure that the monitor was g-sync compatible as my graphics card supports this.
Both have pretty much the same values apart from the grey to black response time - there I decided to spend 100 francs more to get the 1ms.

On the subject of curved, however, I can only say that I think it's a marketing "prank". curved doesn't really come into its own on a 27 inch monitor.

But I'm very happy with the screen, it's absolutely high-end.

Greetings sodi

I would simply spend more and look for a monitor that offers 165 Hz, 1ms response time, supports G-Sync and has IPS as screen technology. You can't take TN seriously and VA is quite ok.
