I am looking for a good PC mouse. I don't need the mouse for games but for everyday office use. I'm not allowed to install any software in the office, so that's where my question comes in. Can I simply connect the mouse via USB and start right away without software plug and play? I work in the business with Windows 7 &10, use Outlook, Word, Excel Internet, CAD and SAP. Or does anyone have another product that they can recommend to me that is sufficient for everyday office use without software?

I would recommend this mouse: Logitech MX Master 2S (Wireless)
It's wireless and plug and play, just plug in the dongle.
You only need the software if you want to configure the mouse specifically.
