Question about Dreame A2

I am interested in the Dreame A2. We have a situation where the robot has to travel from one section of lawn to the next via a flagstone path. There is always a garden hose over this path. (It's not easy to lay the hose differently there). Would the Dreame recognise this as an obstacle and stop, and if so, could the obstacle detection be deactivated locally for passing the path? Thank you for your experience

Obstacle detection is apparently only active in mowing mode. I didn't see any obstacle detection settings for paths. Obstacle detection settings are either in the general mowing settings or in the settings for each zone. I didn't try intentionally putting an obstacle on the path to see how it behaved.

To avoid any problems and to ensure that the hose stays in place, my solution is to use a ramp like this:
- https://www.amazon.de/dp... (diameter up to 15mm)
- https://www.amazon.de/dp... (diameter up to 30mm)

Look at the manual on page 66 of the Dreame A2: https://gzhls.at/blob... which shows that up to 4cm it shouldn't cause any problems on paths.

Moreover, if you opt for this model, it's likely that you'll deactivate LiDAR obstacle detection and configure the blackout zones because it's so sensitive, or that you'll set it to the maximum height (20cm) so that you don't run into trees or other large enough obstacles that don't have an explicit blackout zone around them.
