Question about Sonos Amp

I am currently putting together my "home cinema" and want to buy the SONOS:AMP for it. I have 2 SONOS One SL, 1 SONOS Sub, the Epson EH-TW7100 (4K) and the Swisscom TV Box (UHD). Since I don't need any other components, I don't want to buy an AV receiver. How can I connect everything together so that I get the maximum sound and video quality? Are there better options than "TV Box HDMI Out" to "Beamer HDMI In" for video with "TV Box 3.5mm AUX Out" to "SONOS:AMP Cinch In" (RCA, i.e. analogue)? Preferably, I would run the data transmission via HDMI ("SONOS:AMP HDMI/ARC In"), as the music quality is transmitted and output optimally this way. However, this is not possible without an AV receiver or adapter. Because the receiver is not an issue, the only option is an adapter... But which one? Will any 4k HDMI splitter do? (They are actually designed to connect 2 monitors...)

Hello Paddy
My configuration looks like this:
- Swisscom UHD Box
- SONOS Amp
- Sonos Optical Audio Adapter
- Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor, 4K, 60Hz
- Normal HD Monitor
- SONOS One rear speaker
- Self-built 8Ohm front speaker

I used the "Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor, 4K, 60Hz" to loop out the audio signal (TOSLINK) and connected it to the SONOS Amp via the "Sonos Optical Audio Adapter" and HDMI cable.

I cannot judge the quality of the "Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor, 4K, 60Hz" with a UHD 4k connection, as I use an HD monitor for the image resolution.

Hopefully I could help you further
Greetings Henry

You will only get a stereo signal out of the TV Box 3.5mm Aux Out. That's not going to work for your home cinema. I assume you want to use the SL as surround? Then, of course, a surround signal must be fed into the SONOS AMP.
