I am currently looking for a suitable docking station for my future laptop (Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2023) with enough high charging power to power my laptop. Now I have come across this model. On Digitec you state a charging power of 180 W, but Dell states on their product page that the charging power is 130 W (For Dell systems) and 90 W (For non Dell systems). See here under "Power supply": https://www.dell.com/de-ch/shop/dell-thunderbolt-dock-wd22tb4/apd/210-bdtd/pc-zubehör . Now I wonder if Digitec is talking about a different version of the Dockings Station that offers 180 W charging power for Dell and non Dell systems.

The power supply for the docking station can deliver 180W, but via USB-C/Thunderbolt 90W or 130W is passed on for Dell systems. For the higher charging power, Dell has its own system for its notebooks, which HP or Lenovo also have.
For high-performance notebooks, such as the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2023, I currently recommend using the original power supply to ensure a constant power supply.
