I am considering buying a GPS velocomputer. So far I have been with Garmin. But I only had problems with the last devices. I came across the Wahoo Element Roam. I have questions about it:
Can a second bike also be configured (analogous to Garmin/I found it good)?
If so, can I see the total km by bike?
Are the total km visible on the Wahoo or only on the app?
Data evaluation possible on the device or only on the app?

No, the Wahoo Elemnt devices do not support profiles as known from Garmin!
But from my point of view this is not a problem. I use several MTB bikes with different sensors myself. Simply synchronise the Wahoo with e.g. Strava and then you have all the data/workouts nicely divided according to bike/profile...
You can also see the data analysis on the device itself. But it doesn't really make sense because the corresponding Wahoo app is mandatory for configuration and evaluation. I am super happy with the Wahoo Elemnt Roam and don't want a Garmin anymore.

Answer

- You can see the data evaluation on the device as soon as you have completed a training session. However, the evaluation on the app / STARVA is better.
- I use it with 3 bikes, but I select the corresponding bike when synchronising with STRAVA. (I don't know whether this also works on the ROAM).
- It automatically selects the sensors of the respective bike.
