I am a little unsure which graphics card I should buy. Is the following card sufficient for this monitor to play current games in "full" glory? MSI GeForce RTX 2070 ARMOR OC (8GB, High End) Or would it be better to spend 230 francs more for an RTX 2080? ASUS GeForce ROG STRIX RTX 2080 O8 GAMING (8GB, High End) Hope you can help me a little further.

Helpful answer

Does full splendour just mean beautiful and well playable or does the graphics card also have to get close to 120fps (to make use of the 120Hz)?
I have a 2080 and even with WQHD I don't always get 120fps (depending on the game). But it's also smoothly playable with the 2070 if you don't chase the fps.

But I would recommend the 2080 to keep the fps high enough for future games with 4k.
