IK Multimedia iKlip Grip Pro
I actually wanted to use the thing as a "stand" for my iPhone so that I could do video conferences and charge the battery at the same time. But if it's not so useful as a tripod, what alternatives are there? I don't want a video perspective "from below".
I use iKlip Grip Pro with Galaxy S10/iPhone Pro and with various apps such as Zoom, Skype, Cisco Webex or WhatsApp without any problems. The device is usually placed on the table. The shooting angle can be adjusted effortlessly. With the extension rod, the height can be adjusted up to approx. 60 cm. For wide shots, this works if the device is placed on the floor. For close-up shots, the effect is from below, or the unit can be placed on a table.
By the way, the smartphone can be inserted into the holder in such a way that the battery connection remains free. This means that the battery can be charged at the same time as the video is being recorded.
It is ideally suited as a tripod for my needs.
