I took the keyboard to the office for a test run and it stands out: Although narrower than one with a numeric keypad, it looks big and tall and massive. The blue illumination also stands out. There were admiring glances, but also envious ones ("Hey, come to the office to play games?").
Now for the volume: the keyboard is too loud for a quiet open-plan office. I pulled myself together and typed more quietly when it got quiet around me. But as soon as there is talking/phone calls, then the typing volume goes down. At home, alone at the office table-> fine. If someone is sitting at the same table and concentrating on homework, then the clicking is distracting.
