How long will there be an update for the Tab s4? Because I can't really decide yet, Tab s4 or s5e. There's also a difference in price and I'd like to be able to use the thing for longer.

Hello Anonymous. Samsung sets the time limit for system updates on mobile phones at 2 years. I will soon find out if this is also the case for tablets. The S4 should have been released 2 years ago soon. The update limit does NOT refer to your purchase date, but to the release date. So already about 2 years ago. I get updates much faster on my Nokia phone than on my Samsung Tab S4, if any are rolled out at all. I was considering between Microsoft Surface and Samsung Tab S4 2 years ago. In hindsight, for my purposes, the Surface would have been the better choice.
If updates are important to you, then probably the s5e.
