How long is the power cable? Can it also be pulled out of the panel to connect to a slightly remote outlet?

Unfortunately, the cable length is not specified by the manufacturer. The light is designed to be connected directly to the ceiling outlet; it is not intended to pull the cable out of the cover for connections further away.
