How is the memory formatted? I absolutely need FAT32. With another stick I had the problem that the memory was formatted exFAT and could not be reformatted to FAT32 with a Windows system. A specially downloaded tool then caused even more damage and the stick could only be formatted again with a Linux system. PS: I would have liked the same question answered for the alternative Samsung Fit Plus (64GB, USB 3.1). Thank you!
formatting the memory has been completely irrelevant for at least 10 years.
every windows and linux includes formatting functionality.
you don't need to download an extra tool.
If the tool had actually caused damage (which is almost impossible), a linux format would not have helped either.
