How high are the two rods? It only says that the packaging is 44cm long, which suggests that the two rods will probably be around 40cm long/high...

They are exactly 45cm long (excl. cable). Not so optimal for the length of the box, they are just a bit crooked after unpacking, but that will come with time. And the look clearly prevails, cool part.
