The videos are written to the SD card, which must be purchased separately. If necessary, you can remove the SD card and read it out on the PC with any normal SD card reader. I don't understand the sentence "If the app starts automatically...". Yes, the device starts automatically when there is power.

Hi, I only have the videos on my old Nokia phone.  No problem. I am now on the road in England where the police hope that dashcams will be used.  I'm in quarantine and can't wait to record more videos.  Good luck to you.  John
