Question about EVA Infrared thermometer

How do you use it, to take the human temperature? At what distance from the forehead, for example, and then add how many degrees because it gives a lower temperature than the reality?

I found the EVA infrared thermometer to be inaccurate for human use
I bought it after seeing these devices on TV/news
I returned it, the process cost me a loss of 18 CHF. It is better to avoid.
