How do I replace my current drive (256Gb SSD) which is the system drive of my Laptop with this one? Is there a software/kit to replace it with current Windows data transfer?

Helpful answer

Hello, this kind of software exists but is limited in the fact that it cannot increase the capacity of the system disk (your C partition will always be 256 GB) and that you have to connect the 2 disks at the same time (rather complicated on most laptops. I advise you to reinstall Windows (your license key will still be valid) on the new SSD and to transfer your files previously copied on a USB key and reinstall your software, it's a bit annoying but it's the solution with the least problems in the future.
I hope I have been able to help you

hello, you can use clonezilla you just need a usb key, clonezilla will clone your SSD on the new one. https://clonezilla.org/liveusb.ph... .
how to use clonezilla https://www.youtube.com/watch
I also bought Kingston A2000 and it took me less than 45 minutes to clone the SSD system without losing anything. If not Kingston offers you the possibility to download Acronis True Image HD software and an activation key. I am too used to clonezilla.
