Question about Elgato Wave Mic Arm (Low Profile)
How deep does the clamping handle go into the desk? Let me explain: my desk is less than 6 centimetres thick (so no problem in theory), but all around, underneath, there are metal reinforcements about 1.5 centimetres from the edge. So is 1.5 cm enough to attach this microphone arm?
At 1.5 cm, you can't take the clamp all the way to the edge of the table, it won't be perfectly mounted. I had the same problem with a 1 cm thick metal edge, so I simply took a 1 cm thick piece of wood to widen the metal edge and it held perfectly.
