Question about Caran d'Ache 849 Classic
How comfortable is it to hold when writing? It doesn't look very comfortable in the pictures, there's a right shoulder from the hexagonal casing to the round part that holds the nib.

The 849 feels good in the hand. The six straight surfaces allow the 849 to be fixed and stabilised well. In contrast to curves, the straight surfaces offer more support, which I personally find more comfortable.
I'm still very satisfied with it.
