How close to the watch does the heart rate belt sensor need to be to transmit data? Looking for something to measure my movements and running distance when playing football without having to wear the watch.

Question

Answer

The watch is on the arm and the heart rate belt is strapped around the chest, so there are no problems with transmission. If the watch is not worn on the arm, I think the reasonable distance will be 1.5 -3 metres. The ANT+ protocol is not intended for longer distances.
