How can I turn off the annoying beep when I mute in Microsoft Teams? It's so annoying that I'm considering using my old headphones again.

According to research, this is not directly due to the Sennheiser headset, but rather to Microsoft Teams itself. The "HD 458BT" actually only has two acoustic signals, when reaching the minimum and maximum volume. You can find a discussion in the Micorosoft forum on the following link.
